Powered by CeraVe's proprietary Advanced Salicylic Acid Deposition System, 2% Salicylic Acid, Kaolin Clay, 3 Essential Ceramides and Glycerin, this versatile formula clears acne, prevents new breakouts and soothes the skin — all without disrupting the protective skin barrier.

The Advanced Salicylic Acid Deposition System is the technological heart of this product — it allows the 2% Salicylic Acid to be deposited more precisely and effectively into the pore, maximising the exfoliating and pore-clearing benefits of BHA while minimising potential irritation. Salicylic Acid is oil-soluble and uniquely able to penetrate deep into pores to dissolve the sebum-and-dead-cell plugs that cause blackheads, whiteheads and acne pimples from the inside out — a fundamentally different and more targeted mechanism than surface-only physical exfoliation.
